There is no exact time when all bars have to close in Ayia Napa and you will usually find something open somewhere, during the summer months at least. Music must go off in bars though by 1.30am and generally people will leave bars and head to clubs at that time. Ayia Napa does have great night life and definitely has plenty for anyone looking to party. It is bigger than similar "party" resorts in the Greek islands and whilst smaller than some of the big Spanish resorts, Ayia Napa is more compact so everything is within easy reach.

Is Ayia Napa safe for solo female travellers?
Ayia Napa is one of the safest places to visit for women but caution must always be taken, as with anywhere in the world. It is not recommended for women or in fact anyone, to walk alone in isolated or deserted areas. We recommend that you stick to well lit and busy places and to always make sure someone knows where you are. Ayia Napa has a low crime rate in general but you should always be vigilant.

Where do I go if I get sick in Ayia Napa?
There are several doctors in Ayia Napa who offer a walk in service for tourists such as Saveco health centre just off Nissi Avenue. They will examine and treat almost any and every injury or illness that you may have. If you have travel insurance the cost of visiting the doctor may be covered by this or you may have to pay an amount as an excess and your insurance will take care of the rest. If you do not have travel insurance then you will need to cover the cost yourself. EHIC cards are not valid at private doctor's practices in Ayia Napa. If you have any doubts, you can visit the health centre and they will explain everything to you.
Can I use Revolut cards in Ayia Napa?

Ayia Napa does not have any beaches where nudity is allowed. Cyprus is quite a traditional country and whilst topless sunbathing is accepted on the beach, nudity in other public places is not allowed. There are no nudist beaches and the police will take action on indecent exposure and nudity in public areas.

We recommend that you don't drink the tap water, although it's perfectly fine for cooking and teeth brushing. The purification process of water in Cyprus will be different to what you are used to and the water is very hard so may cause upset at first. The water generally though is clean.

Yes you may find mosquitoes in Ayia napa. we recommend if you are prone to being bitten that you use an insect repellent. Plus in repellents and sprays are available in most local supermarkets.
