Tour DescriptionPut your chef hat on and come with us to experience our unique cooking class in the mountain countryside. A chance to learn traditional recipes first-hand in a beautiful village house with a fantastic TV chef.
Before heading to your cooking location we’ll visit the quaint village of Omodos to explore traditional products and sample some Cypriot wines. This traditional wine making village is home to artisans and artists as well as one of the oldest wine presses on the island. We will also have chance to try the famous Commandaria fortified wine which has been produced in Cyprus for thousands of years. We’ll continue the drive further into the mountains to a village tavern where you’ll meet the celebrity chef who will be hosting this great experience and enjoy welcome snacks and coffee. We'll head to the neighbouring fields for foraging and collecting fresh garden ingredients for the day’s meal. You will then have a personal cookery class with the chef to learn how to make a Cypriot main dish, side dish, seasonal salad and dessert. Choose from Moussaka or Stuffed Vegetables for your main dish. We finish with a traditional meal where you can enjoy the dishes you prepared.
