Tour Description

This is a fantastic experience not usually available for tourists. You’ll be invited into the home of a true local who will show you the very best in Cypriot cooking whilst exploring its traditions and flavours. 

Our first visit of the day is the local fruit market, where locals buy their fresh produce. After collecting what you need for your dish you’ll be taken to the home of your host where you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and introduction to the day.

Your host will then guide you through the preparation and cooking process of a main course, side dish, local salad and dessert, using the freshest local ingredients. For your main dish you can choose to make either Moussaka, Stuffed Vegetables or Tava (Cypriot lamb casserole). Learn the traditional ways of cooking local dishes as you experience the true Cypriot hospitality. 

Once your dishes are cooked it's time to sit down to a traditional meal with your host and enjoy the delicious food you have just made. You will definitely leave this tour with a full tummy and useful knowledge on Cypriot cooking and culture.​​​​​

When there is high demand we may offer you an alternative date if all our guides are already booked on tours. Please book at least 2 days in advance.
