Tour Description

​​​​​​The Troodos and Handcrafts Tour is a unique private full day tour by jeep where we explore some of the traditions of Cyprus as well as enjoying the beauty and nature of the green heart of the island - the Troodos mountains. 

We travel high into the majestic Troodos mountains to some of the most picturesque valleys where tiny villages are perched on the mountain sides. Here we take time to explore these traditional villages with their quaint architecture and sleepy way of life. We will also visit one of the important holy monasteries in Cyprus and enjoy some wine tasting at a local winery. 

The most unique part of this tour is the variety of local handcrafts workshops that are included. We will visit several artisans along our journey who have impressive skills that have been passed down from generation to generation including traditional crafts such as pottery, byzantine icon mosaics and paintings and jewelry making.

This is a full day tour, around 8 hours duration. It is available any day, all year round as a private tour, excluding national holidays. Please book at least 3 days in advance. ​

​​This tour is available from Ayia Napa, Protaras and Larnaca areas. Pick up from your hotel / apartment is included. Pick up times start around 07.45 in Protaras, 08.00am in Ayia Napa and 08.30 in Larnaca.

Know Before You Go - Important Information

​​Not wheelchair accessible. 
Not suitable for children under 3. Older children may participate but please bear in mind that it is a long day with lots of travelling so may not suit all children. 
Pick up times are around 07.45 - 08.00 from Protaras, 08.00 - 08.15 am from hotels in Ayia Napa and 08.30 - 08.45 am from hotels in Larnaca area.
