Ayia Napa has long been known for it's party nightlife but in the past 25 years it has been slowly moving away from it's "drink all night and sleep all day" image. Today Ayia Napa still has a good choice of clubs for all music tastes but it's bars, beaches and holiday experiences are more in focus and it's less of a clubbing destination these days, specially after the Covid rules of the past few years.
The big clubs in Ayia Napa now are Castle Club and Black N White with Carwash for the party crowd and Club Ice for hosted events during the busier months. Club Sin and Shuffle club open in peak summer (June to August), there's also one late Club - Aqua.
The clubs in Ayia Napa open around 1am and close around 5am. The late club, (Aqua) closes sometime after sunrise. During the winter, Ayia Napa's nightlife is mostly sleeping with just Black N White club opening at weekends, usually from November to New year.
There's usually at least one club open by the end of March and it slowly gets busier as summer goes on. By mid-August it starts to slow down again with just Castle Club, Black n White and Carwash continuing until the end of October.
