This winery tour takes you beyond the grape with an expertly tailored schedule of sightseeing, wine tasting, cultural experience and fun.
We travel into the majestic Troodos mountains, visiting 3 award winning wineries where we can sample their produce and learn a little about the production of wine in Cyprus, the indigenous grape varieties, and the wine making process. Taste a variety of Cypriot wines including the famous fortified wine "Commandaria" which has been produced in Cyprus since at least 800BC. At the wineries you can also take the opportunity to purchase wines at special prices if you wish.
This is a small group tour with a maximum of 7 people (Private tours for larger groups can be arranged) with an experienced local guide who is passionate about Cypriot food and wine and will ensure you experience a truly original day out visiting places that larger tour groups can't go to. We'll also enjoy a lovely picnic lunch in the mountains and give you chance to explore the charming and popular village of Omodos.
Explore some of the best wine-making villages including Omodos, and taste some of the best wines Cyprus has to offer. Enjoy a day out taking in the village scenery, meet real locals who take pride in creating and producing their wine.
