Tour DescriptionCyprus is one of the best places in the world to try scuba diving for the first time. The calm, crystal clear, warm waters and excellent visibility make it the perfect diving location for beginners. If you've ever fancied exploring the underwater world then the Discover Scuba Diving Experience is for you.
All equipment is provided so once you're suited up we head to the nearby Green Bay with it's sandy shallow beach. Our fully PADI and SSI qualified instructors will start with an on shore briefing, explaining the equipment and safety procedures with you. Then you'll get in the shallow water at the beach to practice some basic skills. Once you’ve got the hang of the equipment we'll move into deeper water up to a maximum of 6 metres for a tour of the Green Bay dive site. There's lots of fish in this area as well as other marine life. Divers often see octopus and turtles if they're very lucky. The underwater world is truly mesmerising and highly addictive! The dive lasts around 45 minutes and once we get back to the beach we head to the 5* PADI dive centre for refreshments and to view the photos taken during your very first scuba diving experience! Photos are available to purchase for just €10. The Discover Scuba experience is suitable for all ages from 10 upwards, as long as you're in good health. Discover Scuba Diving is available from May to October, weather permitting. Choose from morning or afternoon dives (09.15 and 13.30 dive times) In the case of bad weather for diving we may need to reschedule your trip. If this happens we will offer an alternative date/time. If we can not find a suitable alternative we will refund your payment.

Know Before You Go - Important Information
You will be required to complete a health questionnaire before you dive.

You must leave at least 12 hours between diving and flying
Pick up from hotels in Ayia Napa and Protaras areas is included.
All necessary equipment is included and no prior experience is necessary.
Morning and afternoon dives are available.
The experience lasts around 2.5 - 3 hours including a 40-45 minute dive.
Minimum age 10 years. Children over 10 are welcome to dive under their parents supervision on the shore.
Itinerary of this activity is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions or reasons beyond our control.
All indicated times are approximate and subject to change.
To scuba dive safely, you must be in good general health and not be extremely overweight. Your respiratory and circulatory systems and body air spaces, such as your sinuses, must be normal and healthy. Pregnant women and people with heart trouble, a current cold or congestion, epilepsy, active asthma, a severe medical problem, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, should not dive. If taking prescription medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program and if possible obtain a doctor’s note to say you are fit to scuba dive.
If you arrive for your discover scuba diving session under the influence of alcohol your dive will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund.
You will not be able to dive if you have any of the following conditions: ear infection, ear disease, hearing loss or problems with balance, a history of ear or sinus surgery, cold, congestion, sinusitis or bronchitis, a history of respiratory problems, severe attacks of hay fever or allergies, or lung disease, a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) or history of chest surgery, active asthma or history of emphysema or tuberculosis, currently taking medication that carries a warning about any impairment of your physical or mental abilities, behavioural health, mental or psychological problems or a nervous system disorder, are you or could you be pregnant, over 45 and have a family history of heart attack or stroke, a history of colostomy, heart disease or heart attack, heart surgery or blood vessel surgery, high blood pressure, angina, or take medication to control blood pressure, bleeding or other blood disorders, diabetes, seizures, blackouts or fainting, convulsions or epilepsy or take medications to prevent them, back, arm or leg problems following an injury, fracture or surgery, fear of closed or open spaces or panic attacks (claustrophobia or agoraphobia).
