Tour Description
An alternative way to explore the real Cyprus is on this small group food experiences tour. Head into the majestic Troodos mountains as we visit traditional villages stopping for unique food experiences you won't find anywhere else.
We visit the home of a local woman to learn the traditional way of Halloumi cheese making. First you can help to milk the sheep and goats, then take a tour of the workshop before making your own fresh halloumi and anari cheese. We will then enjoy a delicious brunch with drinks.
We then continue through the scenic mountain villages making more stops to enjoy delicious local produce including a honey producer where you can learn a little about the honey making process. We also visit a local man making products with donkey milk. You can tour the farm, sample the handmade products and learn about how they are made.
We will also take a visit to one of the traditional Troodos Mountains villages with it's narrow cobbled streets and beautiful architecture. We also have a little time here to shop and explore.

Tour Schedule
This is a full day tour, around 7 hours of touring around the Troodos region plus journey time from/to your accommodation. It is available any day, all year round, excluding national holidays, subject to availability. When there is high demand we may offer you an alternative date if all our guides are already booked on tours. Please book at least 2 days in advance. For last minute bookings, please contact us and we will do our best to book you on this tour.
