Tour Description
This just over half day tour will take you into the Troodos mountains where you'll visit an award wining winery. We will have a tour of the premises, learn a little about wine production in Cyprus and the grape varieties that grow well. We will taste up to 20 delicious local wines, including the world famous Commandaria which has been produced in Cyprus for thousands of years.
We will then visit a traditional village. The village included in the tour will vary depending on your pick up location, so it will be a village that is within easy reach of the area of Cyprus we are coming from.
Each itinerary will be different but guaranteed to include picturesque sightseeing and beautiful scenery. Some of the villages we explore are Lefkara, Omodos, Kakopetria and Letymbou among others. We will have a short guided tour of the village followed by a Cyprus coffee and traditional snack in a local cafe.
We recommend that you have breakfast before you start the tour, and you will be back at your hotel in time for a late lunch (around 14.00). This is a unique tour which doesn't involve a full day travelling about but includes some of the best things about Cyprus - wine and beautiful scenery.
