Tour Description
Really get to know Cyprus on this day trip to the island's capital, Nicosia and to the majestic Troodos Mountains. The tour combines a bit of history and culture with shopping, sightseeing and stunning views of natural landscapes and quaint mountain villages.
Nicosia is the only divided capital city in the world and offers a wealth of fascinating sights. The old town is set within ancient Venetian stone walls. Wander the narrow cobbled streets of the "Laiki Geitonia" with its labyrinth of tiny shops, cosy cafes and and a sleepy atmosphere. Visit the "Green Line" which has divided the island since 1974 and discover more about this fascinating old city.
Then travel into the Troodos Mountains with it's fresh air and picturesque pine forests. Visit the medieval village of Kakopetria, nestled in the trees and with streams flowing through the village, this is a popular and very tranquil location. Admire the traditional architecture and get a taste of life on Cyprus in centuries gone by.
The tour continues on to the peak of the mountains at Troodos Square where you can take in the view, shop for souvenirs or get some lunch.
We then move down to the Troodos foothills and the village of Omodos. Set in one of the main wine making regions of the island, this village boasts the Holy Cross Monastery. There are many handmade local products made in the area for you to sample including the famous wines.

This is a full day tour, around 10 hours duration including pick up and drop off. It is available on selected days of the week, during the summer months. Please book at least 48 hours in advance. For last minute bookings, please contact us and we will do our best to book you on this tour. At times of high demand we may need to offer you an alternative date if the tour is fully booked.
Departure Points / Pick up locations
This tour is available from Ayia Napa, Protaras and Larnaca areas. Pick up will be from designated pick up points around the resort. Your nearest pick up point may be a few minutes walk from your hotel. Your exact pick up location and time will be advised upon confirmation. Please be waiting at the pick up point before the time stated in case the bus is running early. Pick up times start around 07.30am in Ayia Napa, 07.00am Protaras and 08.10 in Larnaca.

The front seats of the bus may only be reserved for people with disabilities.
Children are welcome on this tour, but please bear in mind that it is a long day with lots of travelling so may not suit all children.
Pick up times are around 07.30 am from hotels in Ayia Napa, 07.00am in Protaras and 08.10 am from hotels in Larnaca area.
Return times are Larnaca around 17.00, Ayia Napa around 17.30 and Protaras around 18.00.
No vest tops/tank tops or shorts allowed in the Holy Cross monastery. Please bring long trousers and a top with sleeves. (Both men and women)
