Snorkeling trips run twice a week from May to November, weather permitting. Pick up is available from Ayia Napa, Protaras, Nicosia and Larnaca. Please book at least 4 days in advance.Please note that due to Covid-19 hygiene rules, you will need to provide your own snorkeling gear. This can be bought at most tourist shops around resort.

Tour DescriptionXylofagou is around 15km west of Ayia Napa and the coastline here is rugged, wild and with hardly any human intervention. It's an unspoilt and undeveloped coast offering crystal clear waters, numerous caves and unique coastal scenery.
The seas here tend to get a little rough after 10-11am so we can start our trip early in the morning to get the best of the calm seas before it becomes less enjoyable. If you wish to start later then please note that once the seas get rougher it is not as pleasant to snorkel but we can enjoy more of the scenery above the water line in the area. Please note the actual snorkeling time is around 2-3 hours. We recommend this trip for more experienced snorkelers. If you see the Book Now button below you can book this tour online. Tour Schedule
This trip is available twice a week from May to November, excluding public holidays. Start times would be before 8am for the best experience. Please note that during the early and later months of the year the water is significantly colder than in the height of summer and a wetsuit is recommended. In the case of bad weather for snorkeling, we may need to reschedule your trip. If this happens we will offer an alternative date/time. If we can not find a suitable alternative we will refund your payment. Time of tours may vary depending on location and time of year.
Departure Points / Pick up locations
Pick up is available from all hotels/apartments in the Ayia Napa and Protaras areas as well as in Larnaca and Nicosia. Transport from other areas is available on request at an additional charge.

Know Before You Go - Important Information
Snorkeling is a casual non-extreme activity. We take appropriate safety measures (eg using a buoy). Participants should always be alert and cautious when doing outdoor activities, especially in the sea.
We follow weather forecasts and meteorology very closely. If we see that the sea on a particular coast is not calm enough, then we will snorkel on a different coastline. If we see that the sea is rough everywhere, then we will cancel the trip and either reschedule for an alternative date or issue a refund is not suitable alternative can be found.
These trips are about exploration while respecting nature. We strive not to disturb the animals we see, we do not feed them and we avoid getting too close in a way that they may feel threatened, or may be harmed in any way.
As we move away from summer and temperature outside and in the water fall, participants may feel more comfortable wearing a wetsuit (or similar, even a UV protective long sleeved top), especially if we are spending a long time in the water. A 3mm suit should be more than enough for even the coolest days.

Cancellations within 48 hours of your tour start time are non refundable. Cancellations outside of this time may receive a full refund. If you need to change the date of your tour or will not be able to make it, please let us know as soon as possible.
